Training & Education
The Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria (DSCV) offers a variety of training and education opportunities, from formal mediation training through to half-day workshops and seminars. Although most of our mediation courses are offered in Melbourne, some of our short courses can be run throughout Victoria.
DSCV is a program area of the Department of Justice & Regulation Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides formal training in mediation. Our mediation courses fulfill the requirements of the Certificate IV in Mediation.
DSCV is also a Recognised Mediator Accreditation Body and has the authority to accredit trained and experienced mediators under the National Mediator Accreditation System.
As well as mediation training, DSCV offers a range of informal conflict resolution training sessions and workshops. These can be tailored to the needs of schools, local councils, community groups and other organisations. For more information, contact the DSCV Training Officer at our Melbourne office.
