L2P Program (Learners to P Plates)

The L2P program provides younger people aged between 16 and 21 with the opportunity to undertake supervised driving practice. The program is designed to provide driving experience for people who may not otherwise have the ability to undertake the required 120 hours to gain their probationary licence. The L2P program matches mentor drivers with younger people so they can develop their driving skills and confidence. The program provides immense personal satisfaction. It enables a younger person to gain their probationary licence and with it, the mobility required to access educational, employment and recreational opportunities.
The L2P Program in the Wimmera is coordinated by Volunteering Western Victoria.
