SVCAL provides a flexible adult learning option for students who, for a range of reasons, will achieve better outcomes in this type of environment. The program prioritises forming strong relationships with the students and preparing them to enter the workplace.
Most of the curriculum is a dedicated VCAL curriculum (Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development Skills and Work Related Skills). However, we are developing more VCE credits that can be counted towards VCAL completion (for example, Industry and Enterprise). Students are also encouraged to complete a VET subject on Wednesdays.
